A rivet is a mechanical fastener that permanently joins two materials together, typically used in thin sheet metal and composite applications for fast high quality repeat installations.  There are many types of rivets (standard blind, structural, drive, solid, etc.) but they all have the same basic function of an cylindrical body that expands in the predrilled install hole to adjoin the two materials and adds shear/tensile value to the application.

Rivets are installed in seconds from one side of the work. Once installed, no finishing work is required on the rivet.

Also, we offer lock bolts (Collar Bolts) that comprise of a pin & collar design that adds vibration-resistance value to the application.  Locks bolts are faster to install and offer better performance than a traditional nut and bolt.

For any project where you need a strong, easy-to-install blind fastener is required; the rivet will work perfectly. Our main maker of rivets, Industrial Rivet (also known as Rivet King) utilizes only the highest grade materials to ensure products are dependable and efficient. For over 100 years, industries such as automotive, metal fabrication, appliance, food equipment, aerospace and defense have used the superior grade Industrial Rivet fastener line to solve drive production results and solve challenging engineering issues.

The rivet fastener is made to exacting tolerances. There is a complete selection of types (standard blind, structural, multi-grip, lock bolts, etc.) and materials (Aluminum, Steel, Stainless, Copper). Paired with our fine rivet installation tools, the rivet makes a reliable total fastening system.

Should you need the ability to occasionally remove and re-attach the secondary application (i.e., HVAC interior service access panel) to the parent material (i.e., HVAC external enclosure), then take a look a using a rivet nut (similar, but different, from a rivet).
